Arrow in the Armor is easily the best collection of poetry I have ever read. The dark nuances of Movie Script Murder immediately pull you in, while Face in the Crowd reads like lyrics to a song you'd listen to on endless repeat trying to decide if you're heartbroken for these kids or if they're going to make it. Dear Child makes you feel sorry for the person behind bars despite what may have put them there. You can feel the desperation build in Ashes, Dust, and Diamonds to a feverish conclusion that leaves you wanting more.

Arrow in the Armor is intriguing, chilling, and just fucking beautiful in every way. The author reveals a little bit of his soul in each piece, and I would be hard-pressed to pick my favorite.

- Angila Tremblay

Chad writes with a surprising voice. He takes you deep into a dark corner and then with the next, brings you back into the light. His words dare you to explore the page and face the words he thrusts at you. One line was one of the most creative and introspective utterings that I have ever had the pleasure of reading! He says "not eloquent," I say it's all about perspective.
